The Splatterpunks were a vicious street gang of Old Detroit.

History

After failing in the pursuit of a group of rebels, Officers Anne Lewis, Donnelly, and Jensen were ambushed by a group of Splatterpunks. As the gang closed in on them, RoboCop came to their rescue, eliminating the gang members and arresting two of them that had managed to set him on fire.

After failing to employ the Detroit Police Department, Paul McDaggett hired the gang to assist the Rehabs in eliminating the remaining rebels in Cadillac Heights. They were interested in the military grade equipments they were given as one of them was shown testing the toughness of the body armor he was wearing with a knife but due to the mohawk hairstyles they sported, they weren't able to use all of them as one was shown having difficulty putting on a helmet.

• The Splatterpunks may be the successors, or remaining members, of the Torch Heads, another band with great similarities to this one.
• They may be the result of consuming Nuke.
